Streetwise started in 2003 with a simple observation: families on the lower north shore didn't want to leave. They loved the street, the school zone, the ten-minute ferry. They'd simply outgrown the house sitting on the block. Renovating those old homes was a money pit; selling up and moving away was heartbreak. A knockdown-rebuild was the obvious answer — but the builders doing it made it feel terrifying.
So we built the calm version. Fixed demolition prices named up front. Council, overlays and BASIX handled by us, not handed to you. One contract, one accountable team, one completion date. We deliberately stay small — a handful of rebuilds a year — so the person who quotes your job is the person standing on it. Two decades on, that's still the whole business.
